Refunds & Credits
Last updated: 5 July 2026
How SlopeShare credits and refunds work during the private beta.
The English version is the legally authoritative version during the private beta.
What credits are
- Credits are a prepaid in-app balance used for SlopeShare ride contributions between members.
- Credits are not cryptocurrency and have no value or use outside the SlopeShare app.
- In this MVP, credits are not withdrawable and cannot be cashed out or transferred to a bank account.
- Credits do not expire during the beta.
Buying credits
You can top up with money via Stripe secure checkout (credits cost about €0.10 each; larger bundles are a little cheaper). We never see or store your card details. Credits are added to your balance once Stripe confirms the payment.
Refunds during the beta
- Refunds are handled case-by-case during the private beta. There is no automated refund flow yet.
- If a payment went wrong, a ride didn't happen as expected, or you were charged in error, email support@slopeshareapp.com and we'll review it.
- Please contact us before opening a card dispute — we can usually resolve it faster directly.
- Statutory consumer withdrawal/refund rights under EU/Austrian law are being finalised before public launch; during the beta we aim to be fair and generous.
